The Rev. Robert E Skinner Jr. has been called as pastor of Westview Baptist Church at 1700 Ebert Street. He will begm his new work with the 11 a.m. worship tomorrow. A formal installation will be held. later. He succeeds the Rev. E W.
Eugene Pettit, who retired in July.
A native of Atlanta, Ga., Skinner .. 27, is a graduate of. Georgia Institute of Technology, where he received a degree in textile engineering: Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, where he received the master of divinity; and Baylor Univer sity Medical Center's clinical pastoral education program, where he served an one-year mternship. He was an honor student in college and seminary. While in college, he was an
assistant youth minister at First Baptist of Atlanta, and while in seminary he served First Baptist of Euless, Texas, as Royal Ambassador director. and Wedgewood Baptist Church in Fort Worth as in terim youth minister and Sun day school director. He was licensed and ordained by Wedgwood. Skinner has been in construe
tion work since he completed his chaplain internship in September. He and his wife, Christie. have been living in the Riverview Apartments at Advance. She is a registered nurse and a graduate of Georgia Baptist Hospital. She is now doing taking advanced training in anesthesia at Bap tist Hospital. They will move mto the city when they find housing.

Westview Baptist Church at
1700 Ebert Street will celebrate the installation of the Rev. Robert E. Skinner Jr. as pastor on Sunday. The ser vice will begin at 6:45 p.m. Skinner began his duties as
pastor on Nov. 11. He came here from Dallas, Tex., where he completed a year's program of clinical pastoral education at Baylor University Medical Center. He succeeds the Rev. W. E.
Pettit, who retired in July. He had served as the church's only pastor since its formation in 1959. A native of Athens, Ga.,
Skinner is married to the former Christie Bishop of Bainbridge, Ga. She is enrolled in the nurse anesthesia program at N. C. Baptist Hospital. She is a graduate of Georgia Baptist Hospital. · Skinner, a graduate of
Georgia Tech, received the master of divinity degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Tex. The new pastor will be
presented to the congregation
by Dalton King, who served as chairman of the pulpit committee. Skinner also will be welcomed by various of ficers of the church. The service will be led by the
