Educational Qualifications: M. Sc. Ph.D. Date of Birth: 18/06/1973
Topics of interest: Materials Chemistry (Bio-fuels, Nano, Polymer, Wood, Water).
Brief of Work Experience: After post graduation in Chemistry (1996), I accomplished
doctorate in Polymer Technology (2003). During Ph. D. I could support teaching polymer
and basic chemistry papers to the B.Tech. Plastics and B.E. Chemical programs. As a
part of the support, guidance to one of the B. Tech. (Plastics Technology) groups
resulted in an international publication. Sundry work during Ph.D. for development of
polymeric anti-flocculating agents for prevention of scale and sludge formation in boiler
feed water also has resulted in a publication.
As research associate, at C-MET, Nano Materials Laboratory, I got exposure to
research work in different fields of Material Chemistry like Organometalic Chemistry,
Inorganic Polymer Chemistry. I could contribute in the activities of research group
involved in preparation of nano particles of Selenium, Cadmium and Copper. Also, I lead
a group of students aspiring M.Sc.in Chemistry for their project work for nano particle
synthesis of metals at C-MET. The teamwork with the group comprised of each of B.Sc.,
M.Sc. and Ph.D. students resulted in technology for solar cell related process.
Currently teaching to the first year engineering students. Major topics covered under
Pune University Syllabus are, Solid Materials (Material Science), Polymers,
Environmental Chemistry, Electrochemistry (Corrosion & Control), Fuels & Lubricants,
and Analytical Chemistry. One student, M.Sc. (Polymer Chemistry), is guided for his
research project.

Taught introductory courses to B. Tech. (Plastics, Paints, Oil and Food) And B.E.
Chemical Engineering students for a period of 06 yrs during Ph.D. Has conducted
contingent practical courses as well.
I am a recognized guide for M.Sc. by research, M. Phil. and also for Ph.D. at University
of Pune for the subject of Chemistry.
