CAMERA – STILL SHOTS, STOP MOTION, LOCATION STILLS, POSTER AND REVIEW.This will be sourced from the media editing room which have

plenty of cameras for us to use. They are light which is good in transportation terms, are rich in detail and focus.

TRIPOD

From AS we have mastered how to use a tripod and will be used in interviews such as with Maddy Conway. Tripod’s will also be sourced from the media editing room which has a sufficient supply.

RODEO MIC

From my technical research, rodeo’s mic’s were good for improving the quality of sound and giving us less to edit in the editing process. These can be sourced from the media room as well as art room.

ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS4

We used Photoshop greatly in AS as we both chose to do Print Productions, now with what we’ve learned we can combine with what we will also learn in A2 to create the Poster and review. For example the Dispersion effect is a photo-shop created effect. This is available on every computer in the school.

FINAL CUT PRO

In AS we only really utilised Final Cut Pro when we created video’s for the blog, however in A2 we will be using Final Cut Pro profusely as A2 unlike AS will be essentially dominated by videos and footage editing. This is only available on the MAC in the media editing room.

VIDEO CAMERA

This will be essential for all footage, interviews and fillers, we’ve used them to create videos that are throughout the blog and so are familiar with how to use them, attach them to the tripod and connecting/getting footage onto Final Cut Pro. These will also be

sourced from the media department.

PREZI AND SLIDESHAREWhen completing our coursework, to step it up and add a bit of

creativity and improve our skills base, the coursework will be presented (as it has previously) through free internet applications such as Prezi and Slideshare and more apps. we have yet to discover.

Prezi – ‘Prezi is a web-based presentation application and storytelling tool that uses a single canvas instead of traditional slides.’

Slideshare – ‘SlideShare is an online slide hosting service. Users can upload files in the following file formats: PowerPoint, PDF, or OpenOffice etc.’
