Example of Coordinator-initiated project during interview season.

• Program would invite 1-2 applicants per week to interview which resulted in long-term interviews and extended time of faculty.

• Coordinator initiated proposal to interview committee to interview 5-6 applicants at one time.

• Results proved successful– faculty more agreeable to interview– cut down coordinator's time of extended interviews– saved department money on refreshments– reservation of conference rooms reduced
