Mr. Sanders outlined the responsibilities of CMT and HOK in the CMAR process. CMT is the lead consultant and HOK is the lead architect.

B. Minutes of this meeting and any addenda that may result will be sent to all attendees by email. These documents will also be posted on the

www.flymidamerica.com website. Please make sure you sign the attendance roster or provide your business card.

C. Any questions regarding the project must be received in our office before 2:00 P.M., February 5, 2019. All questions must be in writing as

defined in the RFQ.

III. Scope

A. Description. The most recent scoping drawings show a building expansion to the north, which will add approximately 40,751 S.F. of new

space. Scoping drawings also show approximately 10,310 S.F. of the existing building to be renovated. Major items within the building

expansion and renovation include: new passenger screening area and TSA areas, renovated and expanded outbound baggage screening and

handling area, new vertical transport, renovated and expanded concessions areas, expanded passenger lounges, new storm shelter, and

existing loading dock removal. Other supporting projects include the passenger boarding bridges, the site work associated with the terminal

modifications, landside improvements including a new round about and reconfiguration of the terminal curbside area, and airside

improvements consisting of widened apron fillets. Early construction estimates for the entire project range from $25 to $30 million.

Handouts depict the latest terminal layout.

Mr. Sanders went through the exhibits.

B. The airport must continue to operate during all portions of construction. Flight schedules vary on a weekly basis but primarily consist of

twelve to thirty-two flights per week (average passenger loads of 150 people per flight).

Mr. Sanders emphasized the importance of this section. Attached for reference are the February – July flight schedules. The schedules

exhibit the frequency of activity within the Terminal.

C. The site is located within Mascoutah city limits. The Construction Manager agrees to obtain, keep current at all times, and comply with all

applicable municipal, state, and federal licenses and permits necessary or required by law for the duration of construction.

D. Term of Services: Two (2) years, with the option of three (3) one-year extensions.

E. Construction Manager is responsible to familiarize themselves with the general conditions of the project site.

Meeting attendee asked about the current funding scenario. Mr. Sanders noted the local funding match has been approved and the

airport is pursuing a discretionary AIP grant through the FAA. An entitlement AIP grant will be used to fund the design portion of the

project.

Flights? What is a typical flight schedule? Mr. Trapp explained the schedule varies throughout the day and throughout the year.

Attached for reference are the April – June flight schedules. The schedules exhibit the frequency of activity within the Terminal.

Liquidated Damages? What is the current plan? There is nothing specifically defined at this point.
