Request for Evaluation of Military Training - JST
There is no limit on the amount of credits that can be transferred, but be aware that transferring all credits may
not be in your best interest. Current regulations limit the amount of credits eligible for financial aid and tuitionbenefits. To ensure optimal satisfactory progress and maximum use of earned tuition benefits, we recommendyou only request transfer of those military credits that are directly applicable to your degree program. This maymean that you choose to not transfer any military credit. Credits cannot be removed from your record oncethey are posted.
Prior to a military credit evaluation, the student must:
Request an official Joint Services Transcript (JST) be sent to UAA
Meet with an academic advisor after your JST transcript is received by UAA. If you do not wish totransfer any credit from your JST, there is no need to submit this form.
It is strongly recommended that you complete at least one semester at UAA prior to submitting this form.
