CHAPTER 2
DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
This chapter will cover the front end (HTML web pages) and backend (SQL tables)
design. The front end helps user to get interact with the system and back end usestables to store data.
FRONT END DESIGNThe state authority system mainly has two users.
1. Authority administrator.
2. Tourist and vendors.
Theauthority administrator can perform the following tasks.1. He/She can generate overall rating of cities.
2. He/She can generate attribute wise rating of cities.3. He/She can add, remove, update inter city and intra city bus details.4. He/She can add, remove, update hotels details.5. He/She can generate a report of bus scheduling.

CHAPTER 3
IMPLEMENTATION
Implementation deals with the modelling phase of the project. In this chapter we
will present the simple logic based arithmetic modelling of the STATE TOURISM
AUTHORITY.
The main purpose of the modelling is to facilitate the administrator, so that he can
take good decisions on time. In the following section we will present the modelling
approach of every decision.
RANKING OF CITIESThe feedback form of the tourist respondents provides rating for different tourism
attributes of the city. The respondent provides rating between 1(highly dissatisfied)
and 4(highly satisfied).
TOTAL SCORE
Total score for one respondent = of rating for each attribute
Total score of the city = ( score from each respondent) / (No. of respondent)
ATTRIBUTE WISE SCORE
Score of an attribute = ( score of the attribute from each respondent) / (No. of
respondent).
DECISIONS
1. The top three scorers will get an appreciation amount from the tourismauthority.
2. The bottom three scorers will get fund along with the instructions to use it on
some specific attributes.
3. Based on the attribute wise scores, authority will release officers transfer
order.

SHEDULING OF BUSESIn this part, system uses a simple network model that shows the connectivity of
different cities. The objective is to provide 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM uninterrupted bus
service between two connected cities, the next bus will available after the duration
of two hours.
The connectivity of cities along with the distances is shown in the following table.
CITY CONNECTED CITIES
SARNATH chitrakoot (100km)
vrindavan (150km)
VARANASI ayodhya (150 km) Allahabad (100km)
VRINDAVAN chitrakoot (150km)
sarnath (150 km)
The optimal solution of this network model is shown below.

FUTURE SCOPE1. The model can be upgraded to provide booking facilities for buses and hotels.
2. The model can be upgraded to provide seasonal offers.
3. In the bus routes intermediate cities can also be considered.
LIMITATIONS1. We have not considered the constraint on availability of buses.
2. Tourism attributes of feedback form may not be exhaustive in nature.
