Joint IMAPS/CPMT in Europe
Cooperation!
Why?
We have to find out the common interest for future cooperation!
Both societies are very strong in Europe, there is in principle no need.
(Presented at the leadership Meeting)
Rolf Aschenbrenner: European Proposal
Joint IMAPS/CPMT in EuropeExamples for cooperation:
1. Coordination of future conference dates At the beginning on European level, later perhaps Worldwide
What we need: Meeting of the European representativesof both societies (every 6 months)[Meeting of the IMAPS and CPMT Board]
2. Support each other when using the mailing system
(Presented at the leadership Meeting)
Rolf Aschenbrenner: European Proposal
3. Setting up a common European major conference?
Joint IMAPS/CPMT in Europe
Alternately organized by CPMT and IMAPS annually????
4. .............................
Organized by a local chapter ?????
A lot of other options!!!!!!!
(Presented at the leadership Meeting)
Rolf Aschenbrenner: European Proposal
There is general agreement that Europe cannot afford two large Conferences (Eropean „ECTC and IMAPS Europe).
The whole purpose is to serve Europe as first priority .
A small team consisting of Karel Kurtzweil and Eric Beyne from IMAPS and Johan and Rolf have been appointed to explore opportunities and recommend.
1. Meeting in Friedrichshafen during the IMAPS-Europe Conference (June, 23.-25.
