Introduction
Institute of Infrastructure Technology Research And Management (IITRAM) is one of the fastest growing State Government institutions of Gujarat. The Institution has proven its standard by accepting ‘The Outstanding Institute - West’ award under ‘The National Education Awards’ by ABP news in the third year of its inception. In the year 2016, IITRAM was honored by DNA as the ‘Best
Institute in Skill Development’. IITRAM, Ahmedabad organized a Techno-Cultural Fest, ‘REPERTUS 2K16’ for the first time in our institute during the period 1-3 April 2016. The theme for the festival was “Smart Infrastructure”. Such an event, we believe, has provided a tremendous opportunity and better platform for enhancing technical and practical knowledge among the students across the nation.
This Fest was an opportunity for reputed companies to associate themselves with us and harness the skills and abilities of students across the nation. The institution was eminently positive towards the outbreak of the event and was
successful assembling around 500 students from different parts of the country with a footfall of around 1500.

Competitions
Death Race
In this competition the robots of the participants will have to traverse a certain
pathway while defending themselves from the destructive attempts of other
robots to destroy it, along with proving the stability of their bots while going
through various obstacles posed to them by the track.
This competition was meant to co-relate the skills of team work and
coordination, sportsmanship, smart work, and the best to come out creative ly
from situations.
Bridge the Sea
This is the competition in which students will apply civil engineering knowledge
to build a bridge under the given dimension. The bridge will be analyzed by
applying load on it or can also be checked by taking deflection into
consideration.
This competition helped to bring out the creativity of solving a dynamic situation
with minimum requirements given by applying engineering capabilities built in
them
Contraption
This competition was aimed to bring out the best from participants by analyzing
their competitor skills, and pitching out the instantaneous solution to reach with
maximum moves but still in time.

Workshops
NX - RPT - nearly 30 participants
NX - RPT was an extra ordinary workshop for design lovers which included
designing on software and then visualizing the 3-D model on Rapid Proto Typing
machine which was conducted by Designtech.
STAAD.Pro - 30 participants
Building construction in front of the eyes is the best feeling for any civil engineer
and we made it happen with Bentley India in our workshop STAAD.Pro.
UDR - 12 participants
The trend of robots didn't stopped even at IITRAM and therefore we arranged a
ROBO based workshop UDR in which student got to know the making of
Universal Driven Robot with the help of Robotech Labs Pvt. Ltd.
IOT (Internet of Things) - 4
In this workshop participants got the knowledge about the controlling things
like, fan, tube light, etc. with their mobile phones under the mentorship of
Robotech Labs Pvt. Ltd.
Ethical Hacking - 15
Participants enjoyed the basics of hacking but that too ethically. The workshop
was conducted by i3 India.
FPGA (field programmable gate array) - 5
The workshop was mainly for the participants from the branches EE and EC
because the workshop of working R-duno chips required the advanced
knowledge of the subject as per the guidelines by the well renowned company
NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS.
