• REEEP is an international public‑private partnership that was established at the 2002 Johannesburg World Summit on Sustainable Development to expand the global market for renewable energy and energy efficiency

• 170 partners - 30 governments, multinational organisations, businesses and NGOs

• REEEP is currently funded by various governments including Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, EU, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, US, and UK

REEEP aims to work as an enabler, multiplier and catalyser of institutional change, and to have a real impact over the next decade with the following objectives:

• Significant increase in access to sustainable energy services for the poor

• Work with local NGOs, governments and financing institutions to Act as a clearing house of RE/EE information
