Sumerian Religion Songs

• Remember to follow the following steps in order:1. Read about Sumerian religion on pages 34-35 in your

textbook.2. Choose a children's or Christmas song that you will write

your lyrics to be sung to the tune of.3. Look at the three points of Sumerian religion that are

listed on the assignment sheet and choose facts from the reading about each of them.

4. Write your lyrics to the tune of your chosen song using the information that you have picked out from the book.

5. Practice your song if you intend to sing it to the class for extra credit.
