Innovative Technology

Power HF

ConstructionThe RELIANCE Power HF type CCRs are stand-alone units, eachhousing a complete regulator in one enclosure, divided into twocompartments:1. A low-voltage top compartment, containing the power, the

control and monitoring PCBs, and a fused input switch.2. A high-voltage bottom compartment, containing the power

modules and lightning arrestors.

Depending on the rating of the CCR, the units are supplied in threedifferent sized frames.

Options

Lamp- (LFD) and Earth Fault Detection (EFD)

The LFD provides accurate and real-time detection of the number ofburnt-out lamps in a series circuit. The EFD measures the insulationresistance of the series circuit to the ground, with the regulator bothON and OFF. Measurement range up to 1GΩ. The number of failedlamps and the isolation resistance of the circuit are reported to thealphanumerical display on the CCR front. The two alarm levels foreach function can be adjusted via customer settable parameters.

Over-voltage protection

Protects the input against over-voltage spikes by means of optional40kA 8/20 μS surge arrestors.

Rolling castors

The CCR can be equipped with feet for installation on industrial racksor two fix and two pivoting rolling castors to ease displacementduring service activities.
