Job seekers continually flowed through the atrium and classrooms of the Erma Byrd Higher Education Center,
the New River Community and Technical College (NRCTC) rotunda, lounge and hallway areas speaking with employer
representatives.
With approximately 310 people representing the 144 stationed employers and resources, the continual traffic flow included
approximately 400 job seekers.

The NRCTC rotunda, hallway and lounge areas were filled with job seekers as they visited stationed
employers and resources.
Bojangles was stationed in the Cafe' area of the NRCTC Rotunda selling budget friendly snack boxes
and food to the public for prices up to $5.00.

With so many employers to visit, job seekers were given pre- prepared maps of both the Erma Byrd Higher Education
Center and NRCTC to ensure visitation of all 144 stationed jobs and resources.
Resume stations were set up all three entrances to deposit resumes before leaving the fair to be sent to employers in
case all could not be reached during the fair.

Job seekers completed application cards for Lowe's Home Improvement. Lowe's
had three representatives from three stores looking for candidates to fill
positions in Beckley, Fayetteville, and Summersville, WV.

and soft skills needed for employment; and, what global corporations such as Facebook seek in potential employees.
Christian Martine is a Product Solutions Manager at Facebook’s headquarters in Menlo Park, CA leading initiatives
across trust and safety, ads delivery, and advertiser tools.
