REFUGEE CAMPS

A refugee camp is a temporary settlement built to receive refugees, provisionally. Although some refugee camps have existed for decades.

Camps in the east of Chad, such as Breidjing Camp, host approximately 250,000 refugees from Darfur, a region in Sudan, since 2002.
