Deepsea RIG Nyborg AS has participated in delivering HVAC equipment to the following project, including Cooling fans for Drawworks and ventilation of drillers cabin, listed below also similar project of equal deliverance of different owners.
Deepsea Atlantic and Deepsea Stavanger.The two units are scheduled for delivery from Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) in South Korea early 2009 and 2 quarter 2010 respectively. The first unit - Deepsea Atlantic has signed a long term contract with StatoilHydro in Norway. The second unit Deepsea Stavanger is currently being marketed World Wide.
Green RigDeepsea Atlantic / Stavanger is designed for environmental sensitive areas, and the utmost focus has been put on zero discharge, low emissions and electrical solutions to reduce onboard oil volumes and associated pollution risks. Separate drain systems are installed for the machinery area drilling area and all outside clean deck areas No drain water isdrain systems are installed for the machinery area, drilling area and all outside clean deck areas. No drain water is discharged without passing a cleaning system which ensures acceptable oil content. Important installations and arrangements to obtain the green rig are:• Enclosed derrick which prevents mud spill to sea.• All drain lines routed to central cleaning unit by use of several tanks and pumps.• Discharge from mud pits by pumping, no gravity discharge.• Waste management system implemented• Low emission of NOX, clean design engines.• Closed loop BOP control system• Electrical drawworks with power regeneration
