Bryan specializes in raising the level of civic discussion from shouted bumper sticker slogans to thoughtful examination of the key principles at stake. A veteran broadcaster, talk radio host, and podcaster with more than 35 years of experience behind the mic, he was also a program director, executive producer and advertising executive. He’s traveled the U.S. as a professional public speaker and educator. For the past 15 years, Bryan has maintained both a regular column and freelance writing career. Krysten Decker taught in a fundamentalist private school while raising seven children in polygamy. She won a half-million dollar SBA loan to start a kids’ college and graduated from SUU in 2002 with a BS in Elementary Education and Early Childhood to teach in public schools. In 2003 she ended her 33-year marriage and left polygamy, later remarrying and becoming president of the Hope Organization, dedicated to assisting polygamy’s survivors. After publishing her memoir Fifty Years in Polygamy, Kristyn founded the Sound Choices Coalition to inform society about the realities of polygamy and advocate for its victims. She has appeared on The Today Show, CNN Weekend News, Good Morning AZ, NPR Community Voices, The Fawn Rigan Show – Minneap- olis, and Jay Lawrence - KSL A.M. News and has spoken at many a conference, club, church, and library.
