As noted above, temperature ranges vary wildly in industrial applications.

The chart on the left shows the effect of colder and hotter temperatures, respectively, on two common fluorescent lamp types. The ECOBAY™ light output doesn’t change.

To ensure energy savings a fluorescent application requires you to consider the temperature in your space, otherwise, the light levels may not be correct at either extreme. ECOBAY™ remains consistent through a broad range of temperature variations.

This is a crucial factor considering a typical warehouse can vary in temperature from 40˚F to 120˚F. For the T5 and T8 bulbs, they will lose a significant amount of light in these extreme instances.
