Nicky Clarke Mayfair: July 2014 – Present Pa to the salon manager/ front of house receptionist

My tasks have included diary management, meeting scheduling, making and amending travel bookings as well as the hiring of new staff. I have taken on responsibilities such as processing invoices, stock orders and payroll. Based at the front of house desk I have an excellent telephone manner and have provided five star customer service to the clients whilst completing a multitude of tasks with exceptional attention to detail on each one. I have also proven that I have excellent researching skills when completing the tasks asked of me as well as the presentation of my findings.

The Arcadia group: Miss Selfridge and Wallis November 2012- January 2014 Sales assistant

The job consisted of combining excellent customer service skills with maximising sales opportunities. On my working days I was in charge of the sales floor, this involved interacting with customers, other staff members and ensuring the products were displayed to the correct standards.

John Lewis Partnership: October 2009-January 2014 Sales assistant (women’s department - Ted Baker)

The role was to offer a professional and consistent level of customer service, and to keep up to date with product knowledge. I was able to provide product advice to customers and to demonstrate the ability to maximise sales opportunities whilst maintaining a professional image and representation of the brand.

Supermarket/ Petrol station assistant The job role consisted of having excellent communication skills and being able to work within a small team. I was required to work in a fast paced environment as the petrol station and supermarket are combined meaning there were a diverse amount of tasks to be completed.

Sara Cosgrove at The Studio at Harrods: November 2013 Interior Design intern

My work experience at the Studio ran alongside my degree and gave me an insight into the Interior Design industry. During my time here I carried out many tasks including sourcing products and materials, maintaining the samples library, ordering samples and putting together mood boards and then presenting my findings to members of the team, and the client. I was able to make and answer calls to important suppliers relating to various projects and assist the team in any way I could. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and I felt my organisational, team working and communication skills shone through within the professional environment.
