Reader's Theatre

The performance of a

literary work by an

individual or group,

wherein the text is read

expressively, but not fully

staged and acted out.(Reader's Theater, 2006)

Purpose of Reader's Theatre

• Reader's theatre motivates

reluctant readers.

• Increasing understanding of

what is being read.

• Expresstion and fluency can

1.Choose a prepared script.

2. Identify the speaking parts.

3.Assign parts to the kids.

4.Highlight the parts and rehearse the

script.

5.The last step is performing.
