Re-Enrollment Has Begun! It is very important that everything is completed by February 29th, along with at least $275 of the Student Fee per student enrolling. Once a class is full, it will be closed, and a waiting list will be implemented. There are no guarantees of two classes of any particular grade. Applications for 1st time Students of an already registered family Are Now available! Please contact Ms. Sam at [email protected] or by phone, and an application Link will be sent to you. If you have another child ሺsibling of a present studentሻ, his/her online application, $100 Application Fee and $275 of the Student Fee needs to be completed and turned in before February 29th. All Re‐Enrollment and New Enrollment Applications must be submitted online. An email with the Re‐Enrollment Application was sent out on February 16th. If you did not receive this email ሺprimary email addresses were usedሻ, please let me know ASAP. No application will be considered complete until all documents have been completed and fees have been paid. On March 1st, all open seats will be made available to the public. Don’t forget, if you recommend a family for next year, and they enroll and use you as a refer‐ ence, your family will receive $100 off one month of tuition during the 2016‐2017 school year! The KCs will again be serving ϐish! The menu will include: Baked or fried ϐish, French fries, hush puppies, coleslaw and desert. Food will be served from 5pm to 7pm in the FLC. Prices are $8 for adults and $4 for children under 10. 2:00 Release Tomorrow! Students will be released at 2:00pm to- morrow. Students are asked to wear their favorite pair of jeans along with their spirit shirt or organizational shirt! There is no cost on Spirit Days!

It’s Almost SHO Time! The signup sheets for this year’s Shell Houston

Open will be at next week’s PTO meeting!

Our concession stand will be open Wednesday,

March 30th through Sunday, April 3rd. There will be two shifts a day, and we invite all of our parents, grandparents,

aunts, uncles and friends (adults only please) to volunteer. The morning shifts for Wednesday,

Thursday and Friday are from 8:00am to 1:30pm. Afternoon shifts are 1:30pm to 7:00pm. The

morning shifts for Saturday and Sunday are from 8:30am to 1:00pm, and the afternoon shifts are

12:00pm to 4:30pm.

SMMCS is still collecting bottled water for Flint!

We invite all of our SMMCS friends and families to participate in this Bottled Water Drive!

Water can be any brand, but we are asking for bottled water by the case.

Registration Fee on Race Day is $25

Parking Information: There will be limited FREE parking on a first come basis in the Amegy Bank Parking garage on Fannin@San Jacinto and in the St. Joseph Medical Center West Tower Garage on St. Joseph Pkwy@Austin. Please view the DOWNTOWN PARKING CLOSEST TO STEPS map to locate the closest lots and garages. Be aware that you should be prepared to PAY for parking downtown. Most lots are under $7. You should be prepared to arrive before 7a.m.

The Steps4Students packets went home on Tuesday. If you registered after February 3rd, or did not mark “School Pick Up”, you need to get you packet at Luke's Locker on West Gray. Steps4Student personnel will be there today and tomorrow from noon to 7pm.

The SMMCS tent will be in the Village on Fannin Street! If you don’t receive your SMMCS Team Shirt by tomorrow afternoon, just stop by the SMMCS Tent.

Girl Scout Cookies will be sold at next week’s PTO meeting!

Boxes are $4 each.

The Next PTO Meeting will be next Thursday,

February 25th!

Practice will be held every Thursday afternoon leading up to April 8th.

Jump Rope for Heart is a national education and fundraising event sponsored by the American Heart Association and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (AAHPERD). This year’s event will begin on February 22nd and will contin-ue through March 11th!

The students of SMMCS will have the great honor of meet-ing incredible 3 sister from the Hijas misioneras del divino in-

fant de Praga" (Missionary Daughters of The Divine Infant

of Prague) on Wednesday, February 24th.

They will be speaking about their testimony of their lives in Colombia and their mission

fields.

Our SMMCS Girl Scout Troop was on a “roll” last Saturday night!

The girls had a blast during their Daughter/Daddy Bowling Night.

What a great Pre-Valentine’s date with the best guy these girls know!

Graphing is fun...especially in PreK3!

7th Grade student, Made-line Taylor placed 9th out of

34 in today’s Regional Spelling Bee!
