ORPHANS & NEEDY

Iftaars were hosted in some orphanages across remote villages. Families in the area also joined. Thanks to yoursupport, orphans in many places received proper care and Eid clothes.

We reached communities that had never observed fast before. These iftaars encouraged them to start fasting.They collectively decided to start praying beyond Ramadan.

Proactive efforts were made to include women and the elderly. They were excited to be part of these communityevents. Accommodations were made or food was delivered to homes. Young girls stepped forward to volunteer.

“It was like Eid”. They never saw such a thing in their life before, as families gathered to help with cooking, listen tobayaans (lectures), break fast, make dua and have meals.

Specific locations were selected where there was either poverty, illiteracy or both. It was a great opportunity tolearn basics and to think as a community.
