COMPANY OVERVIEW

Emerging markets are home to more than 70% of the world's population (over four times that of developed markets), 46% of its land mass (twice that of developed markets), and 31% of its GDP (half that

of developed markets). And it's where the growth will be in this new era.

Page 3: Rainforest Capital LLPrainforestcapitals.com/docs/Rain_Forest_Capital_LLP... · 2020. 5. 13. · devastating cost to our global climate, annually releasing more than 1.5 billion tons

Rainforest is planning to take up millions of hectares under its proprietary “Rain Forest Trust” Conservation and Forest Management Agreements”. Various selected lands are currently proposed to be verified and validated by the top international teams of forest experts.

Once last phases are completed, Rain Forest will be sustainably integrated value chain of procurement-to-sale of carbon credits sold on the voluntary market in the world.

The Value of Rainforests The Carbon Cycle DeforestationRainforests act as the

world’s thermostat by

regulating temperatures

and weather patterns.

Rainforests are critical

in maintaining the Earth’s limited supply of

drinking and fresh

water.

Rainforests contain

50% of the world’s

biodiversity

Through rainforests and plants

take in vast amounts of carbon

dioxide and water from their

surroundings, storing the carbon in

their biomass tissue and releasing

Oxygen.

Carbon resides in above ground

biomass (e.g, vegetable) and

below ground biomass(e.g,roots).

The carbon stored in forest

biomass, deadwood, little and soil

together is roughly 50% more than

the amount of carbon in the

atmosphere

if deforestation continues at

current rates, 80-90% of

rainforest ecosystems will be

destroyed by 2020.

Deforestation comes at a

devastating cost to our global

climate, annually releasing

more than 1.5 billion tons of

CO2.

Deforestation accounts for

some 20% of annual global

CO2 emissions (IPCC, 2007).

Negatively impacts native

peoples

Rain Forest Trust Cambodia – herein after referred to as “Ran Forest” which is being formed as special purpose vehicle [SVP] specifically for the Cambodian Carbon Credit Project

Rain Forest Trust Cambodia together with its partners and investors are a socially minded organization who have the expertise, knowledge and financial ability to implement a commercially viable solution to prevent rainforest deforestation

The Rain Forest Trust Global Team currently includes scientists, economists, lawyers engineers and financial experts all of whom have many years of experience in emissions trading, climate change policy and project development.

Rain Forest Trust proposes that the Royal Government of Cambodia designate lands to be placed under the “Rain Forest Trust Conservation Agreement” Rain Forest trust will then monetize these lands by developing, registering and selling these Carbon Credits.

The development of Carbon Credits will allow for Rain Forest Trust and the Royal Government of Cambodia to carry out customized sustainable development initiatives.

Rain Forest Trust is currently developing what will be one of the industry’s largest and most diversified portfolios of high quality forest carbon credits

Cambodian Rain Forest Trust Sustainable Investments - Jetropha

The recent financial crisis has seen the West’s leading economists and policy makers urging Asia to make a conscious effort to consume more and thereby help save the global economy. This view conveniently refuses to acknowledge both the unpleasant effects of consumption and the limits to growth. If Asians were to achieve consumption levels taken for granted in the West the results would be environmentally catastrophic across the globe. Moreover, it would have significant geopolitical impacts as nations scramble for diminishing resources.

Asian governments and leaders now find themselves at a crossroads. They may either continue on the current, unsustainable path of Western-style consumption-led capitalism, disregarding the evidence, or they may realize that they hold the unenviable responsibility of leading the world to a more sustainable path as we execute through Ran Forest capital PPPModel.
