Before You Start
Disconnectnegativebatteryterminal.Consultaqualifiedtechnicianforinstructions.
Avoidinstallingtheunitwhereitwouldbesubjecttohightemperatures,suchasfrom
directsunlight,orwhereitwouldbesubjecttodust,dirtorexcessivevibration.
Getting Started
Removetrimringfromunit,Remove2transitscrewslocated
ontopoftheunit.
Insertthesuppliedkeysintothe
slotsasshown,andslidetheunit
outofthemountingsleeve.
Installmountingsleeveinto
opening,bendingtabstosecure.
Connectwiringharnessand
antenna.Consultaqualifiedtechnicianifyouareunsure.
Certainvehiclesmayrequirean
installationkitand/orwiring
harnessadapter(soldseparately).
Testforcorrectoperationandslide
intomountingsleevetosecure.
Snaptrimringintoplace.

Toconfiguresteeringwheelcontrols,followtheinstructionsprovidedwiththePAC SWI-PSinterfacemodule.Afterinstallingtheinterfacemodule,insertthemodule's3.5mmjackintotheportonthebackoftheheadunit.
Adjustvolumeusingthevolumeknob(00-46).

Bluetooth OperationOverviewTheXDMA6415supportstheHFP(hands-freeprofile),A2DP(advancedaudiodistributionprofile)andAVRCP(audiovideoremotecontrolprofile).
PreparationBeforeyoucanuseamobiledevicewiththisheadunit,itmustbeconnectedandauthenticated-commonlyreferredtoas"pairing"adevice.PleasemakesurethatBluetoothisactivatedonyourmobiledevicebeforeyoubeginthepairingprocess.Refertotheowner'smanualofyourmobiledeviceformoredetails.
Bluetooth Pairing1)TopairaBluetoothenabledmobilephonetoyourheadunit,press ontheheadunit,orpressMODEtoenterBluetoothmode.BLUETOOTHwillscrollonce,thenSTANDBYwillappearifaphoneisnotpairedandconnected.
2)Pressandhold ontheheadunitfor5seconds,until"PAIRING"isdisplayed.TheBluetoothiconwillflasheverysecond.Theheadunitwillbegintobroadcastasignalfor60seconds.

The XDMA6415 device name is "DUAL BT."The password for the XDMA6415 is 1234.
General Note
DuetothedifferencesinBluetoothtechnology,somemobiledevicesmaybeincompatibleorfunctionimproperlywhenusedwiththeXDMA6415.
TheexternalBluetoothmicrophonemustbeconnectedtothewiringharnessattherearoftheunittoenablecorrectoperationofaBluetoothphonecall.

time.Theheadunitwilldisplay"LASTNUMBERDIAL."Press DISPtocyclethroughthereceived,dialedormissedcallcategories.Rotatethevolume knobtocyclethroughthelast5callsintheselectedcategory.
