General architecture – On the transmitter site Use Digiplexer 2/4 as a backup processor (i.e. 2 band version) or main one (i.e. 4 band).

Guarantee your audio with the Input/Output management and the embedded Audio Backup.

The Digiplexer 2/4 is an Audio Backup device that can play an audio file in case of silence on other inputs.

Play audio files previously uploaded (remotely via FTP).

Use the Backup as a 3rd audio input.

Stream the audio from a remote source

Use standard audio formats. MP3

Auto-switch between 3 audio inputs (analog, digital and backup audio)

Configure delay and threshold for silence detection.

Choose the order of priority between the 3 inputs

In case of Audio Signal Loss:

(configurable threshold and delay – useful for local programs)

You stay On the Air: An Internal controller will automatically reboot the system, but the audio card continues to run!

The Sound4 DSP audio card is independent of the system: Plug in the Digiplexer: you are On the Air in only 2 seconds!
