Purpose

Detection, classification and identification of radar threats against air platforms in order to provide visual/audio warning for the pilot and initiate relevant countermeasures.

General Specifications

• Threat detection, classification and identification in C-J frequency band

• Handling of radar signals; Pulse, CW and Complex (any combination of pulse and CW)

• Simultaneous use of Instantaneous Frequency Measurement (IFM) based receivers and Superheterodyne based channelized digital receivers

• High Accuracy of Direction of Arrival• Long range detection• High Probability of Intercept (POI)• Operation in dense threat environment• Short Reaction Time • Detection capability for threats specified as “unknown threat” • Recording Pulse Description Word (PDW) for radar
