philanthropic organization and ismanaging the Project
Management for this programmeunder an MOU with the
Government of Haryana, Thescheme was introduced in 40Schools in 8 districts namely
Ambala, Faridabad, Gurgaon,Jhajjar, Mewat Palwal, Rohtak
and Yamuna Nagar, FourVocational courses Automobile,Retail Security and IT/ITES arebeing introduced in class 9th to
12th
As part of this framework,Haryana has been selectedas the pioneering state toimplement the initial pilot.
The Induction TrainingProgramme is designed to
develop vocational pedagogyskills and generic skills
amongst vocational teachersof the Haryana State underthe NVEQF. The training
programme will be helpful inimplementing the NVEQF
levels 1-4 in schools and toprepare teachers for the new
role and functions.
The goals of National Vocational)Education Qualification Framework(NVEQF) are to; (i) provide a closerintegration of learning and work; (ii)
integrate general academic educationand vocational education; (iii)
encourage continuous up-gradation ofknowledge and skills; (iv) support
flexible educational pathwaysbetween sectors and across
qualification; (v) encourage parity ofesteem between academic and
vocational qualification; (vi) promotegreater involvement of industry and
social partners in training; (vii)support inclusive growth by providing
equal access to VET.

approved norms. Transport allowancewill be provided for those CWSN whodo not reside in the school premises.
