Recessed Housing Compatibility

• LED Retrofit Luminaire is designed to install in standard 5” or 6” recessed downlight housing.

• Compatibility of housing not on this list maybe determined by measurement of the housing as detailed in the attached drawing (Figure 1)

• This recessed luminaire has E26/27 Edison screw-base and is ETL Classified for installation in shallow recessed housing.

1.Loosen torsion spring bracket with screw;If install into 6" can housings:Remove 2 torsion springbrackets completely to keep them in the out ward postion. (FIG.1-1)If install into 5" can housing: Slide bracket to inward position.(FIG.1-2)Then,Tighten screw.

5.Squeeze both torsion spring arms together and insertinto the torsion spring slots (or receiner bracktes) of thecan.Tuck all wires into the can and carefully push the retrofit trim into can (note:to provide enough room inshallow cans carefully position socket adapter andsocket adjacent to the long side of the LED driver priorto inserting the retrofit tirm into the can.(FIG.5)

4.Plug the female connector of the retrofit trim onto themale connector of the socket adapter assembly.(FIG.4)

3.Thread the socket adapter into the socket.(FIG.3)

2.Unscrew the wing nut inside the can , Upwards move the socket bracket to max from the can.(FIG.2)

The LED luminaire can be dimmed with many standard incandescent dimmers,however an electronic low voltage version of a standard dimmer (with neutral connection ) is recommended for many applications.Updates in dimmer technology and special conditions may apply depending on the dimmer type being used.To be assured of the latest information regarding luminaire and dimmer compatibility,please contact dimmer manufacturer.

LED Down Light Can Retrofit FixtureImportant: Read all instructions prior to installation.

1. Ensure mounting tabs on retrofit trim are extended all the way out before installation.

2. Thread socket adapter into socket (FIG.1)3. Plug female connector of fixture into the male connector of socket

adapter. (FIG. 2) 4. Tuck all wires into the can and carefully push the retrofit trim into

can To provide enough room in shallow cans carefully position socket adapter wiring to side of the LED driver prior to inserting the retrofit trim into the can. (FIG. 3)

1. With fingertips, twist trim ring clockwise and pull down on retrofit trim.

2. Disconnect fixture from socket adapter.3. Unscrew socket adapter from recessed can.

Dimming performance may depend on the dimmer, the dimmer range adjustment setting (for dimmers with brightness range adjustments), the wiring method, and/or the number of LED modules installed onto the dimmer circuit. For dimmer selection, Dimming control manufacturers revise their product often; for the latest list of compatible dimmers please visit our website.

For best results, it is recommended to install a minimum of four LED modules onto one dimmer. Before turning on the LED lights, set dimmer position at maximum before adjusting to a lower light level. Please follow the dimming control manufacturer’s instructions for the installation of all dimming controls.

We offer 5 years limited warranty. As with any electrical installation, a qualified electrician must ensure compatibility of use with a particular housing. This includes all applicable national and local electrical and building codes. Installer is responsible to securely install LED fixture into housing at time of installation.
