Purpose:
To establish the evidence basis for the
Community Engagement Initiative (CEI)
Methodology. The project uses a multi-
site (3x OR, KS, MO) embedded case
study design to assess the efficacy of
CEI to increase access to health care
for people with disabilities in the study
sites.

Seven out of eight prioritized barriers addressed in Bend, Oregon
Transportation, hospital accessibility and disability awareness are currently being addressed in Corvallis
