How It works?
In the case of positive temperature gradient (dγ/dT) the direction of the liquid flow turns from the edge towards the center, creating a narrower and deeper molten weld pool (reverse Marangoni flow).
The temperature gradient of the surface tension (dγ/dt) turns from negative to positive at a specific value of surface-active trace elements.
