gDischarging resistor • 4Ω 150W ARCOL resistor

Step 1: Connect the Board

Remove discharging resistor from C13

before power on

12V DC to load

Step 3: Power-up the BoardgPlace the cooling fan facing the GaN FETs’ heat sinks of the PFC and LLC and turn on the cooling fan if the output power is higher than 200W

gDisable the discharging resistor

gEnable the resistive load and make sure output power is set to below 240W @ 12VDC

gEnable the AC input; the voltage should be set between 90VAC and 265VAC

Step 2: Connect the Probes

Connect discharging resistor to C13 after power off

PFC - Q1 LLC - Q3

gConnect the voltage probe’s measuring lead to the drain pin

gConect the volage probe’s ground lead to the source pin
