1. Amendment of the syllabi and tables of specifications of the subjects for the licensure examination/s in consultation with the academe and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

2. Under the bill, the subjects for licensure examination for criminologists shall include but not be limited to Criminal Jurisprudence and Procedure, Law Enforcement Administration and Crime Detection and investigation, among others

3. Another provision is to implement the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) for the development of the professional competence of criminologists

4. All registered criminologists shall be exempt from taking any other entrance or qualifying government or civil service examinations and shall be considered civil service eligible to the following government positions, among others: (I) Dactylographer; (2) Ballistician; (3) Questioned Document Examiner; (4) Forensic Photographer; (5) Polygraph Examiner; (6) Probation Officer; (7) Parole Officer; (8) Special Investigator, and other position involving the practice of criminology..

5. Registered criminologists shall enjoy priority of appointment and shall not be required to take qualifying or entrance examinations in the PNP, the NB1, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the Land Transportation Office (LTO), the Department of Justice (DOJ); to the Commission on Human Rights (CHR); the Office of the Ombudsman; the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA); the Commission on Elections (COMELEC); the Bureau of Treasury (BoT); the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR; the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP); the Bureau of Immigration (BOI); the Bureau of Customs (BoC); the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM); the Intellectual Property Rights Office; the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA); the Public Attorney's Office (PAO); government-owned and -controlled corporations and other government agencies with positions involving the practice of criminology.

6. Registered criminologists shall be eligible and given preference for appointment as Police or Jail Inspectors

1. Criminologist shall be the ONLY qualified applicant to enter the PNP in its LINE FUNCTIONS such as patrol, traffic and investigation.

2. Other applications may join the administrative service or support units in lines of the PNP with their profession i.e. nurses are only to be assigned to the health service.

3. Criminologists must be considered as PRIORITY in the lateral entry positions.

4. Criminologists should be limited to laboratory works i.e. Criminalistics work.

1. The subjects on Criminalistics such as Forensic Photography, Legal Medicine, Forensic Chemistry, Questioned Documents, Dactyloscopy, Forensic Ballistics, and Polygraphy should be excluded from the Criminology Curriculum.

2. The subjects on Law Enforcement Administration such as Industrial Security Management, Police Planning, Police Patrol, Police Personnel and Records Management, and Comparative Police System.

3. Corrections subjects should be retain in Criminology Curriculum.

4. There must be separate four year course in the Industrial Security Management.
