Who are your target audience and how did

you attract and address them?

Target Audience

This is Sara, She is the type of person I would expect to buy my magazine. She is 17 years old and still in school.

She studies music because she enjoys it a lot. She likes to try and go to as many concerts as she can but because she is in full time education she doesn’t have a lot of money as she only has time for a part time job. My magazine is only £3.99 so it is suited to her.

Sara likes a many genres of music but the one she listens to most is R&B.

How did I attract them?

I knew what artists are well known in this genre of music so I tried to include them in my magazine to appeal to customers. The popular artists will attract interest from different and more people.

I looked at popular R&B magazines and noticed the artists on the front cover usually has a serious facial expression. I tried to replicate this with my magazine in the hope it will attract customers.

Target Audience

To attract my target audience and appeal to them I tried to use a suitable language in my article. I kept the questions and answers informal so the reader felt the article was made suited to them. Also I thought of questions I felt the audience would want to ask and know the answers to.
