PROHIBITION OF SALE AND USE OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT
UNDER THE ELECTRICAL SAFETY ACT 2002
I, BRIAN RICHARDSON, Director Equipment Safety & Licensing,Department of Justice and Attorney-General, being the delegate
of the regulator, acting under the Electrical Safety Act 2002 , on
reasonable belief that the below type does not comply with thesafety criteria in AS/NZS 3820 (Essential safety requirements
for electrical equipment), prohibit the sale by any person of:
a flexible heating pad (also known as electric hot water bottle orelectric heat pack) incorporating a bladder containing a conductive
liquid and low voltage live electrodes that are used for heating the
internal liquid.
The prohibition of sale is effective from the date of publication
of this notice in the Queensland Gazette.

It is notified that, pursuant to Section 319T(2)(1)(b) of the CorrectiveServices Act 2006, a Victim Trust Fund has been established in thename of Danny Paul NIELSON AKA Danny NEILSON / Danny PaulNELSON / Danney Paul as a result of a payment to him pursuant tothe Personal Injuries Proceedings Act 2002. Victims of Danny PaulNIELSON AKA Danny NEILSON / Danny Paul NELSON / Danney Paulmay have a claim against the Victim Trust Fund and that claim maybe payable from the Victim Trust Fund. Potential claimants have sixmonths from 8 January 2014 to start a proceeding in a court to havean eligible victim claim against Danny Paul NIELSON AKA DannyNEILSON / Danny Paul NELSON / Danney Paul.
Any victims of Danny Paul NIELSON AKA Danny NEILSON / DannyPaul NELSON / Danney Paul NEILSON who commence a claimagainst the offender and wish to make a claim against the VictimTrust Fund must notify the Public Trustee of the commencement ofthe claim and provide sufficient proof of the commencement of theclaim to satisfy the Public Trustee. This notification must be madeto the Public Trustee within six months of the establishment of theVictim Trust Fund, as detailed above.

NOTIFICATION OF GUIDELINES FOR ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT AND PUBLIC CONSULTATION PROCEDURES FOR
DESIGNATING LAND FOR COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE
Notice is given that on 5 April 2014, I, David Edwards, Director-General of the Department of State Development, Infrastructureand Planning, made amended Guidelines under section 760 of theSustainable Planning Act 2009 and section 24AA of the ActsInterpretation Act 1954 about environmental assessment andpublic consultation procedures for designating land for communityinfrastructure under the Sustainable Planning Act 2009 , chapter 5.
The amended Guidelines include an Appendix 4 and Appendix 5 –the Electricity Transmission Manual and the Electricity DistributionManual.

Description of the land to which the designation appliesThe Ministerial designation applies to land at Beach Road, Pialba.
The land is described as Lot 117 on SP212035.
Type of proposed community infrastructure for which the landhas been designatedThe land has been designated for the Hervey Bay State High School.
The community infrastructure is described under Schedule 2,Part 2 of the Sustainable Planning Regulation 2009 as follows:
