Cirque 2012When envisioning a new project, Cirque du Soleil ® invariably strives to explore the unknown, breaks through new barriers, fosters a connection between the artist and the spectator and dare to propose new, poetic adventures. Since its founding in 1984, Cirque du Soleil has put creation at the very heart of everything it does and gives it free rein.

Creating the show Cirque 2012 (temporary name) poses an exciting creative challenge based on boldness, imagination, an unrelenting focus on the human element and the desire to exceed expectations. Everyone – whether employees, performers or creators – contributing, each in their own way, to driving innovation forward at Cirque du Soleil, as well as welcoming and nurturing ambitious dreams that extend well beyond the company.

Cirque 2012 will take to the stage next April and will mark the 32nd Cirque du Soleil production. The organization has never stopped growing, and creation is the key driving force behind this growth.
