USEFUL INFORMATION
Proactive work around the Selkirk Road and Co-‐op with several individuals receiving warnings and cautions has significantly improved the issues experienced by staff and customers.
A longstanding issue around Anti-‐Social Behaviour and drug use in an Ipswich East residential block has been resolved by collaborative working with other agencies resulting of the eviction of the problem resident.
Drug enforcement activity continues and there are a number of addresses in East Ipswich subject to drug activity that we are working on in coordination with our intelligence departments, drug teams, and partners.
There have been reports of an increase in Anti-‐Social Behaviour by congregation of young people in the now longer and lighter evenings around the One Stop and Watertower area of Rushmere St Andrews. Problem-‐solving is currently taking place in conjunction with local agencies and an increase in patrols with a view to identifying and engaging with main groups congregating there.
A new campaign has been initiated targeting parking outside of schools with regards to child/road safety. Schools can request a safety banner in relation to this for placing on the school gates or railings.

USEFUL INFORMATION
With the warmer weather approaching, there has been an increase in the theft of pedal cycles. People are reminded to purchase a reasonable lock and be mindful of where your bike is secured. Serial numbers and the like are best recorded someplace safe for investigation and insurance purposes. We would encourage people to visit the immobilse.com website and register any property on the site with a serial number that can be identified. This is a free national service where recovered property can be quickly identified as stolen and returned to owners.
Motorists are reminded to ensure vehicles are secured overnight and to keep high value items out of view, with in particular Sat-‐Navs, money, wallets and handbags often being left on display. There is also a general reminder that securing property including garages, lock ups, doors and windows all go a long way to reducing the risk of being a victim of crime. Crime reduction advice is available via the Suffolk Constabulary webpage Suffolk.police.uk
