We, the unified faith community of OUR LADY OF FATIMA PARISH, include the churches of Saint Peter, Our Lady of Hope, Saint Michael, Holy Rosary and Immaculate Conception. We are a diverse, merged community with a long history of faith.
As a community of faith, we seek to worship together and grow with the sacraments as we nurture a love of Christ and one another.
As disciples of Christ through Catholic education we strive to help the youth and children explore, understand and practice their faith.
As a body of Christ, we are committed to evangelization through Catholic education and fellowship.
We seek to become a strong, active community rooted in charity.

From the Desk of Father Joji
Dear Friends, God speaks his word to us in many ways. Jesus compares the word of God to a seed falling into the ground. There is no doubt that living God’s word in today’s world is difficult. There are those who will judge us as narrow-minded or prudish. With all the allurements around us, we often find ourselves falling short of the ideals of the gospel and
sinning. It can be tempting to give up or to live our Christian commitment only on the surface. However, if we do so, God’s word cannot take deep root within us. It would be like pulling up a plant and trying to replant it. It just will not work. Rather let us be positive & optimistic in bearing witness to gospel through our transparent Christian lives.

OUR CALL TO STEWARDSHIP “The seed sewn among thorns is the one who hears the word but then the cares of the world and lure of riches choke the word and it bears no riches.” MATTHEW 13:22
Does the lure of riches and material goods choke God out of your life? Are you so caught up in worldly activities that you have no time for God? Stewardship is a lifestyle to be lived every day. It affects all the decisions we make. What we receive a at Mass every Sunday should be shared with others all the other days of the week.
Please pray for our sick: Bernie Wiegel, Glenn Garvey, Dale Symons, Eileen White, Joyce Von Rueden, Rita Marty, Heidi Brunkow Moran, Paul O’Brien, Jerry Nethery, Jean Stopper, Adler Roelli, Bob Quinn, Tammy Pratt Kingman, Kathy Mueller, Virginia Larson, Jim Tuescher and Tom Corley. If you know of someone seriously ill and needs community prayers, please inform Father Joji.
SAVE THE DATE!! OLF FUN NIGHT Saturday, August 26 Held at Davis Farms Shed (located on County F, Darlington) Tickets and more information will be coming
This weekend, July 15 and 16, we welcome our new Pastor, Fr. Joji Reddy with hospitality tables after each Mass. Please take time to say hello and welcome Fr. Joji to our Parish.
THANK YOU to everyone who baked desserts and to those who served at Father Bosco’s Farewell Party. A special thanks to the ladies who came early to make sure that everything was set up and ready by 11:30. And finally a heartfelt thanks to Peggy North who made all of the arrangements. We love you and miss you.
Father Bosco sends his heartfelt thanks to everyone in the parish who attended his farewell party, gave him a gift, or wished him well during his last days at Our Lady of Fatima. He would like to thank everyone personally, but since that is not possible to do before he leaves, he instead will pray for us. He also asks that we keep him in our prayers for success in his latest assignment. He will send us his address when he is settled in his new home and he looks forward to hearing from us in the future.

In accordance with the norm of canon 527 §2, notice is hereby given by the local ordinary of the dispensation of the requirement of taking possession of office for the Rev. Fr. Joji Reddy Thirumalareddy, who was duly appointed as the parochial administrator of Our Lady Of Fatima Parish ( Holy Rosary, St.Peter, Our Lady of Hope, St. Michael & Immaculate conception) by the Most Reverend Robert C. Morlino, Bishop of Madison, on July 15, 2017.

Father Joji appreciates your kindness and patience as he transitions into his role here at Our Lady of Fatima, including fulfilling the office duties of the parish until a secretary/bookkeeper is hired. We apologize for the lack of daily Mass intentions in the bulletin this week, and are working to have them available by next week.
