The EMEA Head Office is located in Uxbridge (London). Due to growth and the complexity of the EMEA region a new position has arisen for a Director Quality EMEA based in Luxembourg. The Director of quality is responsible for all quality functions in EMEA, including contract manufacturer quality compliance, product safety, distribution quality and consumer complaints. This person is responsible for developing company quality policies & procedures compliant to GMP’s. Main tasks & responsibilities: 1. Review and manage the Product Complaint program (CRM and Agile) 2. Develop a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) program for Quality in the region 3. Manage and develop the QA team (team of 4) in Venray, the Netherlands 4. Support product development for contract manufacturers based in Europe 5. Support on products manufactured in US and shipped to EMEA 6. Manage the International Product Testing Program 7. Manage Raw Material approvals in Agile 8. Manage the Stability Program Communications 9. Develop and maintain the audit program for contract manufacturers and key material suppliers 10. Provide a monthly summary to management related to product complaints, product quality issues and quality improvements This person travels (30%-40%) to manufactures in ia Italy and Germany and visits Herbalife locations in the Netherlands and UK. Minimum Qualifications Skills: Required · Knowledge of cGMP’s and dietary supplement manufacturing requirements · Knowledge of Food Safety Management Systems (HACCP etc) · Knowledge of the food regulations in Europe and surrounding region Preferred · ASQ Certified Auditor or Manager or similar certified Experience: Required · Ten years of experience in the areas of Quality · Five years of experience in Quality Management Preferred · Ten years of progressive experience in the areas of Quality · Experience in audit programs Education: Required · BS degree in scientific field Preferred · BS or MS degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and/or food technology Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, (process) improvement skills, result oriented, distributor focus, excellent decision making/problem solving skills, thinking in opportunities/solutions, good planning & organizing skills, people manager.
