Prejudice

Judging someone without real knowledge or understanding.

A person who is prejudiced may think they are superior and that their views and ideas are correct and the other persons is wrong.

Once people develop prejudices against a group or an individual, they may be more likely to discriminate against them.

• Avoiding a person or group of people because they are different

• Verbal abuse towards a person or group of people because they are different.

• Physical abuse/assaulting a person because they are different

• Ignoring/being difficult/using negative communication methods towards a person because they are different.
