Purpose Continuing the seminar series Educating tomorrow’s leaders today The Center for Rare and Neglected Diseases at the University of Notre Dame initiated the Clinical Translational Seminar Series in the Fall 2009. Scientists and clinicians, who are experts in their field, bring first-hand accounts of the state of art in translational research. This provides students an opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with people shaping the field. The series will continue with a focus on rare diseases in Spring 2012 and neglected, infectious diseases in Fall 2012.
