Purifog Hypo Instructions

Purifog HYPO fluid is sprayed through UR FOG Thermospray systems and cleans/disinfects both air and surfaces. Purifog HYPO fluid contains 0.1% of Sodium Hypochlorite, and so must be treated with care.

This fluid must be sprayed indoors in the absence of people and/or animals. The mixture, once sprayed, generates a thick fog that persists for a few hours inside the room during which it is absolutely forbidden to enter the interior of the premises unless wearing appropriate PPE and following the below guidelines.

Site preparation

Please ensure a thorough risk assessment is carried out on site and communicated to all personnel. Our recommendation is that you support your risk assessment with a Safe System of Work process.

Purifog HYPO can only be operated after reading and fully understanding these instructions for use, and your own Safe System of Work (SSoW) process.

Supplied signage must be clearly placed when Purifog HYPO fogging is in action (additional copies can be made, or purchased, and distribute as necessary)

Ensure all windows and doors are closed in the area/room to be treated with Purifog HYPO

Fire alarms should be disabled during this process, preferably smoke detectors should have covers placed on them.

The area where Purifog HYPO is being used must be clear of all people and animals.

How to deploy

Work out the dimensions of the room height x width x length to get cubic volume of room.

Refer to Installation and Use Manual to work out the shooting time required for the cubic meters of the premise.

Ensure all preparation has been done as above.

Purifog Hypo Fixed install

If it is a fixed install all personnel and any animals must exit the premise, then activate the Purifog Hypo Thermo Spray.

A member of staff may be required to stay on ‘fire watch’ for the first 2 hours or inform the fire brigade that Purifog is being used.

Do not enter until all the Purifog Hypo has condensed and gone approximately 2 hours. If left for 8 hours over night, it will also disinfect areas that have not been cleaned as well and kill bacteria and viruses under debris such as coffee spills.

The Essential Product For Full Room Sanitisation

• In the event of an emergency Purifog Hypo is safe to be in for a maximum of 5 minutes with no PPE.

• In the event of an emergency Purifog Hypo is safe to be in for a maximum of 5 minutes with no

PPE.

Enter the premise when clear from Hypo Fog, and air the area for 10 to 15 minutes by opening windows and doors.

Wipe all surfaces that needs to come into direct contact with food after Purifog HYPO has been deployed

Any open food and drinks should be stored away, prior to using Purifog HYPO.

If you must enter a premise containing Purifog HYPO, do not do so until visibility has improved to at least 2 meters, and you personally feel

comfortable with the visibility, AND this can only be done while wearing full recommended PPE.

Purifog Hypo on Mains or Mobile Ensure you are wearing the recommended PPE (see section below).

Start with a 10 to 12-meter space between the Purifog Hypo Thermo Spray and the back wall of the premise. If this cannot be achieved, activate from the exit point.

To activate, with a fob, please first ensure the machine is up to temperature. This can take up to 2 hours. A green LED will show when the machine is ‘hot’.

Then, the machine’s isolation key needs turning to ON.

Then, on the fob press the A button to ARM the machine, and then the D button on the fob to DISCHARGE the fog. Once the required deployment time has been reached, press A button again to stop the fogging. Do this from a safe distance, near the exit.

If you are ‘mobile’ with a unit on a trolley. Activate the Purifog hypo thermo spray as indicated above and work your way from the back of the property, towards your exit point. At all times there should be a clear view towards the exit point of the premise.

Work your way back to the exit point shooting Purifog Hypo into all the required areas always ensuring there is no Purifog Hypo between you and the exit point.

If Purifog hypo does start to encroach on the operator he or she should immediately head to the exit point with the Purifog Hypo Thermospray, and allow it to finish its activation while directed into the property from the exit point.

Purifog Hypo will cover the premise in this event but will take slightly longer.

A member of staff may be required to stay on ‘fire watch’ for the first 2 hours or inform the fire brigade Purifog is being used.

Do not enter until all the Purifog Hypo has condensed and gone approximately 2 hours. If left for 8 hours over night, it will also disinfect areas that have not been cleaned as well and kill bacteria and viruses under debris such as coffee spills.

Enter the premise when clear from Hypo Fog, and air for 10 to 15 minutes by opening windows and doors

Cleaning your Purifog Thermospray MachineHypo should be cleaned once a day when it has been used before it cools down with a 10 second shot of White Out Cleaning Fog . This will prolong the life of the Purifog Thermospray machine.

If it is being used for multiple shots, then after the Thermospray Machine has deployed fog for a a combined 60 seconds, the fluid should be changed to White Out Cleaning fog, and a 10 second activation should be done. You may then revert back to the Hypo fluid.
