VP - Programs• Chess Club: Our partners at Silver Knights Chess are ready and well versed in providing a

wonderful after-school experience. • Cultural Arts: Jill Bennett will now be the lead of this committee since Jo Sorell has

stepped down. We have two contracts signed for 1st and 4th grade, both workshops with Mad Science

• FLEX: Open Chair Position• Food Rescue: Sarah Hall has been delivering the rescued food items to the neighborhood

resource center, we have a sign up genius created and are tracking it. The few volunteers have split up the days to volunteer.

• GRACE Arts: GRACE Arts has had a wonderful start! We are finishing up with the first artist (da Vinci) and the kids had a LOT of fun! Some of the classes even took the "build a parachute" project a step further and actually TESTED out the parachutes in the lobby and on the playground :) Our next artist is Magritte and will start up Dec 4th and continue until after winter break. If anyone didn't get the chance to sign up and help their classes when we did a volunteer all call, they can always email me and I can get them in contact with their classroom coordinator. Additionally, if anyone wants to help out with other classes, we have a few that are scarce on volunteers (particularly in the upper grades).
