Jatropha Plantations
and
2nd Generation Biofuels
Production Facilities
PT Jatropha Biofuels Initiative
Locations Criteria:
1.Climate suitable for year round jatropha fruit production.
2.Large quantities of low lease costs, nonfood production land, that
conforms to international sustainability standards.
3.Land that is relatively flat for ease in mechanical transplanting of
jatropha tree seedlings.
4.Sufficient rainfall and groundwater supplies to not impact
current/future agriculture and human needs.
5.Ability to position biofuels production, storage and shipping
terminal in close proximity to jatropha plantations.
PT Jatropha Biofuels Initiative
Long Term Vertical Integration Plan:
1) own/operate jatropha plantations
2) own/operate biofuels production facilities
3) own/operate storage/export terminals
4) own/operate biofuels transportation assets
5) market biofuels directly to end users

Jatropha Plantations Operations
• Have identified approximately 2,000,000 hectares (4,942,000 acres) that meet our Basic Criteria for jatropha plantations.
• Locations are on six islands in eastern Indonesia and are listed below in proposed order of development, easiest to most difficult, based on the existing infrastructure and mobilization/start up costs:

PT Jatropha Biofuels InitiativeCurrent western Sumba Island infrastructure:
•Electricity generation capacity of 1.0 MW, near main roads only. None in planting areas.
•No water treatment/delivery piping for drinking water.
•No sewage handling/treatment piping and processing.
•No fuels distribution or filling stations within 40 kilometers of planting locations.
•No stores selling any products (consumer goods) within 40 kilometers of planting locations.
•No housing or office space for off island personnel.
•No internet, Skype or international television coverage.
•Limited domestic cell phone coverage.
•No food for sale other than limited local farmers markets in rainy season.
•No maintenance or spare parts facilities for vehicles or farm equipment
Multiple 250 kW Portable Generator setsfor Project Base Camps, Nurseriesand Drip Irrigation Systems. All fueled by crude jatropha oil
PT Jatropha Biofuels InitiativeSelf Sufficiency for Electric Power
•Multiple 1MW Generators sets for Jatropha fruit breaking, Jatropha seed pressing, pumping of crude Jatropha oil, processing of Jatropha biomass into organic fertilizer.•Multiple 5 MW Generator sets for hydrogen generation jatropha biofuels productions, storage systems, ship loading facilities and local employee communities.•All fueled by crude jatropha oil.
PT Jatropha Biofuels InitiativeSelf Sufficiency for Water Supply and Drip Irrigation
Catch basins will be constructed to capture rain and water run off from the 2,000 mm of annual rainfall, months Oct-Apr.
Piping will bring water from natural artesian fed rivers where available
Truck-towed, diesel/hydraulic powered drilling rigs will produce water wells for the base camps, drip irrigation system, employees housing estates and any other location that cannot be met by rainwater capture or use of existing rivers.
PT Jatropha Biofuels InitiativeSelf Sufficiency for Drinking Water Supply and Sewage Treatment
Modular sewage treatment plants will process all sewage from our plantation base camps, from biofuels production and from employees housing estates. All treated water will be recycled and used for plantation and foodcrops irrigation.
Modular water treatment plants will process well or river water to potable water for use in our plantation base camps, for feedwater for hydrogen generation for biofuels production and for employees housing estates.

The CH process converts any non-edible oil (triglyceride) directly into high-density aromatic, cycloparaffin, and isoparaffin hydrocarbons that are ideal for drop-in jet (JP-5, JP-8 and Jet A) and diesel (ASTM D 975 and F-76 Naval Distillate) fuels.
