• There are many need to know facts concerning the psychological effects of alcohol.• Depression - Alcohol is a depressant. This means that once it

begins circulating in the system, it will decrease the activity within the nervous system of your brain.

• Anxiety – From a feeling of discontent to restlessness, there are numerous feelings of anxiety due to alcohol.

• Personality Changes• Obsession – Lot of people think there is not a problem because

they just drink a few drinks everyday, but stay in control of their actions.

• It is important to point out that the social and the psychological effects of alcohol dependency can be just as, if not more, painful and problematic as the physical effects of alcoholism.
