score reports to your
address for all PSAT and
SAT exams

accessed through College

PSAT and SAT as Accountability Assessments
Illinois students must take the PSAT or SAT on April 9, 2019 based on their grade
level
The April SAT is a graduation requirement pursuant to Section 2-3.64a-5 of the
Illinois Compiled Statutes (this version of the SAT is called the School Day SAT
with Essay and cannot be substituted with another SAT administration or another
standardized assessment such as the ACT)
Students who do not take the SAT and are not otherwise exempt will not be
certified as high school graduates by the State of Illinois
Improving Scores and College Admissions
The College Board has partnered with Khan Academy to offer free SAT
preparation (District 218 Juniors are working with Khan Academy in their
advisory/homeroom periods)
Each college and university sets their own guidelines for admissions - please
check with your preferred institution for their entry requirements
