Importance of pets for people

In general, pets have become quite important for the lives of

people, recently. Now, they are even considered as another member

of the family. From my point of view, that fact is fantastic because

animals have also the right of being loved with the same value as a

person.

Moreover, they could give us the true affection that anybody would

give us, for example, there were many cases where a person had a

strong breaking down and, after getting a pet, he or she recovered

the will to live. Some blind people couldn’t do anything without their

dogs as well.

Unfortunately, there are people that despise animals, or even

worse: they mistreat them, taking advantage of the fact that

animals would rarely revenge. Other people just leave their pets on

the street because they don't want them anymore.

Thankfully, other people are the opposite. Pets are normally cats,

dogs, birds... but some people have pets like snakes or lizards.

Actually, those pets haven't the same behavior as a typical pet,

that's to say, they are cold, unexpressive... so that, the person who

likes them, is proving that he or she really loves animals.

The only thing they need is that we take care of them and give

them lots of affection, that’s enough for them to be happy. In

exchange, pets give us company, fun and the most honest love.

However, there are pets that still give all those good things to a

master that mistreats them. That’s an evidence about the kindness

of animals.

In conclusion, I hope that animals gain more importance and

respect as the time passes, because they really deserve it.
