This is 6th Batch of 100 students being inducted to College for session 2019-20 on Merit basis. The faculty

You will find here best Academic atmosphere and highly qualified Teaching faculty to provide knowledge

and clinical training.

Although Khairpur Medical College is in its growing stage and facing many difficulties but with support

of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, Health Minister Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho, Secretary Health

Department Mr. Saeed Ahmed Awan and cooperation of Faculty members, the College is fully

equipped with latest Teaching aids and equipments for providing state of art training to Medical

students.

The lecture halls, laboratories, seminar rooms, museums are air conditioned.

Teaching system is now Annual one and curriculum is adopted of Peoples university of Medical of Health

sciences in accordance with PMDC guide lines.

Students are advised to be regular to studies by attending lectures, demonstrations, clinical postings

during study period and directed to act upon code of conduct and maintain discipline in college according

I N T R O D U C T I O N

The Khairpur Medical College, Khairpur Mirs is a public sector Medical college for 100 seats

located in rural area of Sindh at Khairpur Mir’s to provide Medical and Health care to 2.5m

population of under developed area extending up to Indian border.

The College was inaugurated by the then Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah on 30th

December, 2012.

It is affiliated with Peoples University of Medical & Health Sciences for Women, Shaheed

Benazirabad - Nawabshah Sindh (PUMSHW) for implementation of curriculum & awarding

Degree.

The College was initially named as LUMHS Khairpur Medical College as a constituent part of

Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences Jamshoro Sindh (LUMHS) till June, 2014, there

after it became project of Government of Sindh Health Department Karachi as ADP Scheme

"Establishment of Khairpur Medical College, Khairpur Mir’s.

The first Principal of College was Prof: Mashoor Alam shah a renowned Professor of Medicine

and Ex-Vice Chancellor of LUMHS, Jamshoro.

The College has been inspected 04 times by PM&DC and under process of recognition by

Pakistan Medical and Dental council Islamabad.

The 1st batch of 100 students started classes in 2015 after recognition and approval from 139th

PM&DC Council meeting.

Presently 500 students are studying in KMC-Khairpur Mir’s from 1st to final year MBBS.

This year 6th batch of 100 students would be admitted for Session 2019-20.

Teaching faculty of Khairpur Medical College is highly qualified and working hard to provide basic

& latest knowledge to students for improving Academics to international standards.

Presently College is located on make shift arrangement in "Women Elementary College" khairpur

for First & 2nd year classes and "F-Block of Civil Hospital Khairpur Mirs" for 3rd ,4th and final

year classes. Students are provided hostels for accommodation.

The purpose built College shall be constructed on 28 acres of Khairpur Textile Mill Plot and 60

acre land at Deh mitho mari Khairpur Mirs.

500 Bedded KMC Civil Hospital and 50 bedded Kausar Hospital khairpur is attached with College

for teaching and clinical training of Medical students.

I request Honourable Chief Minister Sindh, Health Minister and Secretary Health Department

to be kind enough to provide funds and facilities for uplift and recognition of Khairpur Medical

College by PM&DC.

(C) Schedule of Hostel Fee Yearly for General Merit & CEAP Merit

As per Income tax ordinance 2001 through finance act 2013, section 236 I, “Every educational

institute is required to collect advance income tax @ 5% on the amount of fee paid to an education

institution, if the fee exceeds Rs. 200,000 annually.”

If there is increase in 10% fees by Government of Sindh that will be applicable to A, B & C table.
