About UsPropaganda Window (PW) is a peer funded project established for artists wanting to present moving images, digital art and performance art on public screens. We have been running PW since 2008 through offline peer funding, but now we want to take it online. It has been our artists and curators that have shared costs for the last four years. We have bought projectors, payed for electricity, recycled personal computers, purchased video splitters, re-purposed our DVD players and donated various cables, leads, DVDs and most of all, our time. We now need to get new equipment, pay for electricity and cover our running costs for 2013.We need your help.

Together we can do itTogether we can enjoy public spaces that include artworks by amazing artists. We can if we network our resources. We can if we create and use public screens that challenge, excite and question our society, culture and aesthetics.

This is what we are doing together.

Peer FundingBy leveraging the growing movement of peer funding platforms, we will fund Propaganda Window’s running costs. This will make Propaganda Window free, as in freedom and as no in cost; for artists, curators and the public.

Beyond running costs we will seek to get additional funds to pay artists and curators who show at PW.

Why do people give?1. To make a better world2. Love from friends and family3. To buy art as a good or service4. To invest for a financial return

Propaganda Window can offer supporters a better world. We can count on the love of our friends and families. We can sell art as goods and services. We can sell our art as investments to our supporters as funding rewards.

Next StepsIf you like the above ideas:1. Join the campaign Facebook event2. Share this presentation on Facebook

We will use the Facebook event to plot and plan leading up to the campaign launch. We will build a group of campaigners by sharing the idea, and then we will fund PW2013!
