To illustrate and compare the electronic and hydraulic characteristics of new types of delivery devices produced by Italian manufacturers.To provide management agencies and irrigation system designers with a helpful decision-support tool to assess and select appropriate technologies to be used in distribution irrigation systems.To give valuable suggestions to manufacturers, so that they can further improve their technology to the benefit of an increasingly rapid growth of the irrigation sector.

Specificobjectives

To develop hydraulic experimental tests;To determine the hydraulic characteristics of the above-mentioned devices as resulting from the laboratory tests carried out at the Laboratory of Water Engineering and Chemistry of the Polytechnic of Bari.
