Project Goal(s) Provide clean running water to a rural community of 1000 people

Project Description Rotary funds paid for pipe and skilled labour and the community provided manual labour to lay pipe in very rugged terrain from a spring some 6 km. distant. Community was also organized with a water committee to maintain the water system with small payments from the users.
