Defining a local site

Must first define a local site and then publish to a remote site

Remote Site-which are files on the server that make up a web site from the author’s point of view rather than a visitor’s point of view

Local Site-which are files on your local disk that correspond to the files on the remote site; you edit the files on your local site then upload them to the remote site
